Asturias is an autonomous community of Spain, situated on the country's northern coast along the Cantabrian Sea. Property in Asturias is generally cheap compared to the rest of Spain. Most of the housing stock is concentrated in the cities of Oviedo and Gijón, which together hold nearly double the homes of the rest of the region combined. Gijón is the dearer of the two, while Oviedo sits right at the regional average. Outside these two main cities, prices vary significantly. Llanes and Villaviciosa are the most expensive places to buy, whereas the inland industrial towns of Mieres and Langreo offer the cheapest housing in the region.
