The District of Trnava is an administrative district of Slovakia, located within the larger Region of Trnava. The terrain of the district rises to its highest point at Záruby in the north-west, and it shares borders with eight neighbouring Slovak districts, including Pezinok District, Senec District, and Piešťany District.
Most of the housing in the district is concentrated in the city of Trnava, which holds far more of the market than anywhere else. Property prices across the district as a whole are slightly cheaper than the national average. Within the region, the most expensive homes are found in Suchá nad Parnou and Slovenská Nová Ves, while the city of Trnava itself sits close to the regional average. By contrast, the villages of Opoj and Smolenice offer much cheaper housing, with prices falling well below those in the main city and the surrounding residential areas like Biely Kostol.
