Südoststeiermark District is an administrative district of Austria, situated in the south-eastern part of the Styria region. It shares borders with several other Styrian districts, including Graz-Umgebung District, Leibnitz District, Weiz District, and Hartberg-Fürstenfeld District, as well as Jennersdorf District to the east. The terrain is characterised by the rolling hills and valleys typical of this corner of the country.
Property in Südoststeiermark District is generally cheap compared to the Austrian average. The housing stock is distributed across several small towns rather than concentrated in a single major urban centre. Feldbach holds the largest share of the local housing, followed closely by the spa towns of Bad Gleichenberg and Bad Radkersburg. While Feldbach and Bad Radkersburg offer more affordable housing, prices rise in the smaller communities. Riegersburg and Fehring are among the more expensive locations in the district, with Bad Gleichenberg also commanding higher prices than the regional average.
