Pardubice District is an administrative district of the Czech Republic, situated within the wider Pardubice Region. The district covers an area of 880 square kilometres and shares borders with several neighbouring districts, including Chrudim District, Ústí nad Orlicí District, Kutná Hora District, Kolín District, Hradec Králové District, and Rychnov nad Kněžnou District.
The housing market in Pardubice District is exceptionally expensive compared to the national average. Most of the district's housing stock is concentrated in the city of Pardubice itself, which is also by far the most expensive place to buy property in the area. Other local towns like Přelouč, Lázně Bohdaneč, and Holice hold much smaller shares of the housing stock and are significantly cheaper. Sezemice and Opatovice nad Labem also offer smaller property markets, with prices that remain a long way behind those found in the district capital.
