The District of Malacky is an administrative district of Slovakia, situated within the western Region of Bratislava. The terrain rises to its highest point at Vysoká and shares an international border with the Austrian district of Gänserndorf.
The district is slightly dearer for housing than the Slovakian average. Most of the residential properties are concentrated in the towns of Malacky and Stupava, which together hold nearly all the local housing market. Stupava is the more expensive of the two, with prices sitting above the regional average, while the town of Malacky is more affordable. Marianka is a much smaller local market but stands out as the most expensive place to buy a home in the district, with prices that far exceed those found anywhere else in the area. Smaller villages like Kostolište and Malé Leváre offer further housing options at lower prices.
