The Lower Silesian Voivodeship is an administrative region in southwestern Poland. It shares international borders with Saxony in Germany, as well as the Liberec Region, Hradec Králové Region, Pardubice Region, and Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. Domestically, the province is bordered by the Lubusz Voivodeship, Greater Poland Voivodeship, and Opole Voivodeship.
This region is a relatively expensive part of Poland for property buyers. Wrocław holds far more of the housing stock than anywhere else in the province, with prices that sit well above the regional average. Outside of this main city, the market is highly fragmented. Gmina Długołęka is one of the most expensive municipalities in the region, with prices rising higher than those in Wrocław itself. In contrast, other urban centres offer much cheaper housing, with Jelenia Góra and Legnica sitting below the regional average, and Wałbrzych standing out as a particularly inexpensive place to buy.
