Eure is a department of France situated in the Normandy region. It covers a landlocked area of over six thousand square kilometres, sharing borders with several neighbouring departments including Seine-Maritime, Calvados, Orne, Eure-et-Loir, Yvelines, Val-d'Oise, and Oise.
The housing market in Eure is generally cheap compared to the rest of France. Most of the residential properties are concentrated in Évreux, which holds far more of the housing stock than any other town in the department. Vernon, Incarville, and Louviers also contain notable shares of the local market. Prices vary across these main towns, with Vernon, Pont-Audemer, and Gisors being the most expensive places to buy. By contrast, Incarville and Louviers offer much more affordable options, with prices sitting well below those found in Évreux and the pricier communes.
