Haute-Saône is a department of France located in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. The terrain rises to its highest point at the Ballon de Servance, and the department shares borders with Côte-d’Or, Haute-Marne, Vosges, Territoire de Belfort, Doubs, and Jura.
Property in Haute-Saône is cheap compared to the rest of France. The housing stock is spread thinly across many small settlements, with Vesoul holding the largest share, closely followed by Luxeuil-les-Bains and Gray. Prices vary significantly between these centres. Gray is by far the most expensive of the main towns, with prices well above the departmental average, while Dampvalley-lès-Colombe and Lure also command premium rates. By contrast, Vesoul, Échenoz-la-Méline, and Jussey offer much more affordable housing, with prices sitting well below the average for the department.
