Leibnitz District is an administrative district of Austria, situated in the southern part of the Styria region. It covers an area of 727 square kilometres and shares its borders with the districts of Graz-Umgebung, Südoststeiermark, and Deutschlandsberg.
Property in Leibnitz District is generally cheap compared to the Austrian average. Most of the housing stock concentrates in the town of Leibnitz itself, where prices remain below the regional average. Wagna and Straß in Steiermark also hold significant portions of the local housing but are even more affordable. By contrast, the smaller market of Gamlitz is the most expensive place to buy in the district, with prices sitting far higher than those in the main town of Leibnitz, followed by Ehrenhausen an der Weinstraße which also commands a premium.
