Vöcklabruck District is an administrative district of Austria, situated in the western part of the Upper Austria region. It covers an area of over one thousand square kilometres, sharing borders with several neighbouring districts including Braunau District, Gmunden District, and Salzburg-Umgebung District.
The housing market in Vöcklabruck District is slightly more expensive than the Austrian average. The largest share of the housing stock sits in the town of Vöcklabruck itself, where property prices are relatively modest and stand well below the regional average. In contrast, Mondsee holds a smaller portion of the housing but is by far the most expensive town in the district, with prices more than double the regional average. Other notable concentrations of housing can be found in Tiefgraben, Oberwang, and Seewalchen am Attersee. Prices vary significantly between these locations, with Seewalchen am Attersee and Sankt Lorenz commanding premium prices, while Attnang-Puchheim remains one of the more affordable options in the district.
