Safor is a comarque of the Valencian Community, situated along the Mediterranean coast within the province of Valencia. This Spanish region shares borders with the neighbouring comarques of Ribera Baixa, Ribera Alta, La Costera, Vall d'Albaida, Comtat, and Marina Alta.
The housing market in Safor is cheap compared to the rest of Spain, with prices sitting well below the national average. Most of the region's housing is concentrated in Gandia, which holds far more of the market than anywhere else, followed by Oliva and Tavernes de la Valldigna. Oliva stands out as the most expensive of these main towns, with prices rising above the regional average. By contrast, Tavernes de la Valldigna is a much cheaper option, where property costs roughly half of what buyers pay in Oliva.
