Baix Penedès is a comarca of Catalonia, located within the Province of Tarragona in Spain. This coastal and inland region shares borders with the neighbouring comarques of Alt Penedès, Alt Camp, Garraf, and Tarragonès.
The housing market in Baix Penedès is generally cheap compared to the rest of Spain, though prices vary significantly between its municipalities. Most of the region's housing is concentrated along the coast, with Calafell holding far more of the market than anywhere else, followed by El Vendrell and Cunit. Calafell stands out as the most expensive of these main towns, with prices sitting above the regional average. In contrast, inland municipalities like La Bisbal del Penedès, Santa Oliva, and El Montmell hold very little of the housing stock and are much cheaper places to buy.
