Selva is a comarca of Catalonia, situated in the south of the Girona province in Spain. The region stretches from a Mediterranean coastline to mountainous inland terrain, sharing borders with the neighbouring comarques of Garrotxa, Gironès, Baix Empordà, Maresme, Vallès Oriental, and Osona.
Property prices across Selva are generally lower than the Spanish national average, though the market varies significantly between the coast and the interior. Lloret de Mar holds far more of the housing stock than any other municipality and is slightly more expensive than the regional average. Blanes contains the next largest concentration of homes, offering more affordable options. Further inland, Maçanet de la Selva and Vidreres provide mid-priced housing. The most expensive properties are concentrated in the coastal town of Tossa de Mar, where prices are more than double the regional average, and in the spa town of Caldes de Malavella. By contrast, the administrative capital of Santa Coloma de Farners remains one of the more affordable towns in the region.
