Albacete Province is an inland province of Spain, situated in the southern part of the Castile-La Mancha region. Its high-altitude terrain rises to its highest point at La Atalaya. The province shares borders with seven others, including Cuenca Province to the north, the Province of Valencia and the Province of Alicante to the east, and Jaén Province to the west.
This is a cheap part of Spain to buy property, with prices sitting well below the national average. Most of the housing stock is concentrated in the capital city of Albacete, which is also the most expensive place to buy in the province. Outside the capital, the market is much smaller and more affordable. Towns like Almansa, Hellín, and Villarrobledo each hold only a small fraction of the remaining homes, with Villarrobledo being particularly inexpensive. Chinchilla de Montearagón stands out as one of the few smaller towns where prices remain relatively high, while Tobarra offers some of the cheapest housing in the region.
