Andalusia is an autonomous community of Spain, located in the far south of the country. The region is defined by its diverse geography, stretching from the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea coastlines to the high peaks of Mulhacén. Property buyers will find that Andalusia is a relatively cheap part of Spain overall, though prices vary significantly between its towns and cities. Granada holds the largest share of the housing stock, with Seville, Málaga, and Córdoba also containing notable concentrations of homes. While Córdoba and Seville are among the more affordable urban markets, coastal locations command much higher prices. Málaga is more expensive than the regional average, while Marbella and Estepona are by far the dearest places to buy, with prices that reach several times the cost of homes in the inland provincial capitals.
