North Brabant is a province of the Netherlands, situated in the southern part of the country. It shares borders with the Dutch provinces of Limburg, Zeeland, South Holland, and Gelderland, as well as the Belgian province of Antwerp. The terrain is largely flat, characteristic of the southern Dutch landscape.
The housing market in North Brabant is priced very close to the national average. Housing is concentrated primarily in the major cities of Eindhoven and Breda, which together hold far more of the region's homes than any other municipalities. Tilburg also contains a significant portion of the housing stock, with prices there falling well below the regional average. By contrast, the provincial capital of 's-Hertogenbosch and the municipality of Meierijstad are the more expensive locations in the province, where buyers pay a premium compared to the cheaper markets of Helmond and Eindhoven.
