Bács-Kiskun is a county in southern Hungary, situated within the South Great Plain region. It is the largest county in the country by area, stretching across flat plains and sharing an international border with Serbia to the south. The region is bordered by several other Hungarian counties, including Csongrád-Csanád, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, and Tolna.
The housing market in Bács-Kiskun is priced very closely to the Hungarian national average. Most of the region's housing is concentrated in Kecskemét, which holds far more of the market than anywhere else. Kecskemét is also one of the more expensive locations in the county, though Lajosmizse is the dearest town of all. In contrast, other towns like Kiskunfélegyháza, Tiszakécske, and Baja are much more affordable, with property prices sitting well below the regional average.
