Zlín District is an administrative district of the Czech Republic, situated within the wider Zlín Region. The territory covers over one thousand square kilometres of terrain that rises to its highest point at Průklesy Nedašov. Along its eastern edge, the district shares an international border with Slovakia, neighbouring the districts of Ilava, Trenčín, and Púchov.
Property buyers will find that Zlín District is generally cheaper than the Czech average. Most of the housing stock is concentrated in the city of Zlín itself, where prices sit slightly above the regional average. Outside the main city, the market is much smaller. The spa town of Luhačovice and the smaller town of Fryšták represent the most expensive locations in the district. In contrast, industrial and outlying areas like Otrokovice, Napajedla, and Valašské Klobouky offer much more affordable housing, with prices falling well below those found in the regional capital.
