The Central Bohemian Region is an administrative region of Czechia, completely surrounding the capital city of Prague. This landlocked territory sits in the heart of the country, sharing borders with seven other Czech regions, including the Liberec Region, the South Bohemian Region, and the Plzeň Region. Housing in the Central Bohemian Region is generally dearer than the national average. Kladno holds the largest share of the region's housing stock, far ahead of any other town, and offers relatively inexpensive properties. Other notable concentrations of housing are found in Mladá Boleslav and Brandýs nad Labem-Stará Boleslav. Prices vary significantly between these urban centres, with Beroun and Brandýs nad Labem-Stará Boleslav being the most expensive places to buy, while Příbram and Kladno remain much cheaper options for home buyers.
