Plzeň-City District is an administrative district located within the Plzeň Region of western Czechia. Covering an area of 261 square kilometres, the district shares its borders with Rokycany District, Plzeň-North District, and Plzeň-South District.
The vast majority of the housing stock in this district is concentrated in the city of Plzeň itself, which holds far more of the local homes than anywhere else. Property prices across the district are generally cheaper than the average for the Czech Republic. Within the region, the small town of Starý Plzenec and the village of Kyšice represent the more expensive locations for buyers, with Kyšice commanding prices well above the regional average. In contrast, outlying villages such as Šťáhlavy and Chrást offer much cheaper housing options, with prices sitting far below those found in the central city.
