The Pardubice Region is an administrative territory in the central and eastern part of the Czech Republic. It shares international borders with the Polish Lower Silesian Voivodeship, alongside domestic borders with the Hradec Králové Region, the Central Bohemian Region, the Vysočina Region, the Olomouc Region, and the South Moravian Region. The terrain rises from the lowlands of the Labe basin to its highest point at the mountain peak of Králický Sněžník.
Property buyers find the region relatively cheap compared to the rest of the Czech Republic. The regional capital, Pardubice, holds far more of the housing stock than any other municipality and is by a wide margin the most expensive place to buy a home. Svitavy and Chrudim follow a long way behind in housing volume, with prices that are much lower than those in the capital. The remaining housing is spread thinly across smaller towns like Moravská Třebová and Ústí nad Orlicí, where homes are even more affordable.
