Olomouc District is an administrative district of the Czech Republic, situated within the wider Olomouc Region. This inland territory spans over 1,600 square kilometres of the Czech landscape, sharing borders with seven neighbouring districts including Šumperk District, Opava District, and Prostějov District.
The vast majority of the housing in this district is concentrated in the city of Olomouc, which holds far more of the market than anywhere else. Property prices across the district as a whole run slightly below the national average, though costs vary significantly between individual municipalities. The city of Olomouc itself is more expensive than the regional average, while smaller towns like Šternberk, Uničov, and Litovel offer more affordable housing options. The highest prices are found in the smaller suburban communities surrounding the main city, with Křelov-Břuchotín commanding prices that are far higher than those in Olomouc, while Hlubočky represents one of the most inexpensive locations in the district.
