The Olomouc Region is an administrative territory in the eastern part of Czechia. It shares international borders with the Polish provinces of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship and the Opole Voivodeship, while internally bordering the Pardubice Region, the Zlín Region, the South Moravian Region, and the Moravian-Silesian Region.
Property in the Olomouc Region is generally inexpensive compared to the national average for Czechia. The regional capital, Olomouc, holds by far the largest share of the housing stock and is the most expensive city in the region, with prices sitting well above the regional average. Prostějov holds the next largest share of housing, with prices aligning closely to the regional norm. In contrast, the smaller towns of Přerov and Zábřeh offer much cheaper housing options, with Zábřeh being among the most affordable places to buy in the region.
