The Liberec Region is an administrative territory in the north of Czechia, bordering Germany's Saxony and Poland's Lower Silesian Voivodeship, as well as the Ústí nad Labem Region, the Central Bohemian Region, and the Hradec Králové Region. Its mountainous landscape rises to its highest point at Kotel.
The city of Liberec holds most of the region's housing stock, far more than any other municipality. Jablonec nad Nisou and Česká Lípa also contain notable concentrations of homes, while smaller towns like Harrachov and Turnov have much smaller shares. Real estate prices across the Liberec Region are slightly lower than the Czech national average, but costs vary significantly between towns. Turnov is the most expensive place to buy property, followed by the mountain resorts of Harrachov and Rokytnice nad Jizerou. By contrast, homes in the industrial town of Česká Lípa are much cheaper, costing well below the regional average.
