The Hradec Králové Region is an administrative region of Czechia, situated in the north-east of the country along the border with the Lower Silesian Voivodeship of Poland. It also shares borders with the Liberec Region, the Central Bohemian Region, and the Pardubice Region. The terrain rises from the flat lowlands in the south to the Giant Mountains along the northern border, where Sněžka stands as the highest point in the country.
The regional capital, Hradec Králové, holds far more of the housing stock than any other municipality, with prices that sit well above the regional average. Across the region as a whole, property is relatively cheap compared to the Czech national average, though local prices vary significantly. The mountain resort town of Špindlerův Mlýn is by far the most expensive place to buy, with prices more than double the regional average. In contrast, working industrial and valley towns like Trutnov, Náchod, and Hořice offer much more affordable housing, with Náchod being particularly inexpensive.
