The Vysočina Region is an administrative region of Czechia, situated in the hilly inland terrain of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. Its highest point is Javořice. The region shares borders with the South Moravian Region, the South Bohemian Region, the Central Bohemian Region, and the Pardubice Region.
The Vysočina Region is a relatively cheap part of Czechia to buy property. The housing stock is widely dispersed among its towns, with Jihlava holding the largest portion, followed by Třebíč. Both of these towns are more expensive than the regional average. Smaller shares of the housing are found in Havlíčkův Brod and Pelhřimov, which stand out as the most expensive locations in the region. Conversely, the cheapest properties are found in the smaller southern towns of Moravské Budějovice and Jemnice, where prices sit well below the regional average.
