The Brno-Country District is an administrative district of the Czech Republic, situated within the South Moravian Region. It physically surrounds the city of Brno, sharing borders with the Brno-City District as well as the districts of Blansko, Vyškov, Třebíč, Břeclav, Znojmo, and Žďár nad Sázavou.
Property in the Brno-Country District is generally dearer than the average for the Czech Republic. The housing stock is highly dispersed among small towns rather than concentrated in a single major urban centre. Ivančice and Kuřim hold the largest individual shares of the local housing, though each represents only a small fraction of the district total. Prices vary significantly between these communities. Kuřim and Moravany are the most expensive towns to buy property, with prices sitting well above the district average. Conversely, Ivančice and Tišnov offer much cheaper housing, where buyers pay considerably less than the regional norm.
