The Arrondissement of Veurne is an administrative district in the West Flanders province of Flanders, Belgium. Situated in the low-lying coastal plain of northern Europe, the region has an average elevation of just one metre above sea level. It borders the North Sea to the north and France to the west.
Most of the housing stock in the Arrondissement of Veurne is concentrated in the coastal municipalities of Koksijde, Nieuwpoort, and De Panne, with Koksijde holding the largest share. The inland municipal seats of Veurne and Alveringem are much smaller by comparison, holding only a minor portion of the local homes. Property prices in the arrondissement are slightly lower than the Belgian national average. Within the region, the coastal towns of Koksijde and Nieuwpoort are the most expensive places to buy, while the inland municipality of Alveringem and the coastal town of De Panne are the most affordable.
