Rhein-Kreis Neuss is a rural district in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Situated in the western part of the country, the district covers a flat terrain of low elevation. It shares borders with several major urban areas and districts, including Düsseldorf, Cologne, Duisburg, and Mönchengladbach.
The local housing market is generally cheaper than the average for Germany as a whole. Neuss and Kaarst hold the largest portions of the housing stock in the district, with Neuss being slightly cheaper than the regional average and Kaarst sitting just above it. Grevenbroich also holds a significant amount of the local housing, offering much cheaper prices. The most expensive properties in the region are found in Meerbusch, where prices are far higher than anywhere else in the district, followed by Korschenbroich. Rommerskirchen holds the smallest amount of housing in the region, with prices remaining above the district average.
